Marta Molina Díez is a professor and researcher in Journalism at the Francisco de Vitoria University (Madrid, Spain). She holds a PhD in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), and her academic career focuses on innovation in communication and the study of transformations in the contemporary media ecosystem.
Her research line specializes in immersive journalism, three-dimensional narratives, artificial intelligence applied to journalism, information verification and combating disinformation, as well as the analysis of university education in communication and digital skills.
She has participated in international conferences and European academic cooperation projects related to teaching innovation, media literacy, and the impact of emerging technologies on journalistic practice and the relationship between media and audiences. Her recent research explores the integration of immersive technologies and artificial intelligence tools in journalism teaching and in the evolution of new narrative formats.
